This Week's Wins - Powered by Women
It’s Women’s Day Week, and we’re celebrating women winning everywhere—on the field, in film, and through music. And yes, even when it’s the men in the spotlight, let’s be real—we all know who’s really making things happen.
Here’s your weekly dose of tea, glory, and women setting the world on fire.
Champions Trophy Final
Yes, it’s India vs. New Zealand in the Champions Trophy 2025 Final this Sunday. Yes, it’s the men’s team fighting it out. But who do you think taught them resilience, and supported them through thick and thin? Their moms. Their sisters. Their wives. And that’s why, this definitely feels like a Women’s Day win already.
But let’s talk rivalry.
India punched their ticket to the final with a thrilling four-wicket win over Australia, powered by Rohit Sharma’s captaincy & Virat Kohli’s classic chase mastery.
New Zealand, ever the silent assassins, steamrolled South Africa by 50 runs, proving that they’re coming in hungry.
And here’s the spicy part: India and New Zealand have had a serious score to settle since the 2021 Test Championship Final, where NZ crushed our dreams. Time for revenge? We think so.
📍 March 9. Dubai. The ultimate showdown.

Oscars 2025: Women Owned the Night. Period.
If there was ever a Women’s Day moment at the Oscars, this was it.
Mikey Madison took home Best Actress for Anora—a film that also won Best Picture. In her speech, she championed sex workers' rights and thanked the community that inspired the film.
Best supporting actress- Zoe Saldana for Emilia Perez
Best original song- El Mal from Emilia Perez
Karla Sofía Gascón made history as the first trans woman ever nominated for Best Actress for Emilia Pérez.
It wasn’t just a night of wins—it was a night of change. And that’s what makes it powerful.

🎶 Anoushka Shankar’s New EP: A Sitar-Fueled Revolution 🎻
When it comes to Indian women owning the global music scene, Anoushka Shankar has always led the way. This March? She’s dropping "Chapter III: We Return to Light," closing out her deeply personal trilogy.
Her signature? A fusion of sitar, soul, and storytelling.
Her impact? Timeless.
📅 Dropping this month—get ready.

☕ Hubdate: Women’s Day & Free Frappe? Yes, Please.
At The Hub Bengaluru, we love celebrating women—not just on Women’s Day, but every day.
And this March 8, every woman in Bangalore gets a complimentary Café Frappe, courtesy of Café Coffee Day (in collaboration with us, The Hub Bengaluru!) at any of the 52 locations. ☕✨
So, if you needed another reason to celebrate, here it is: a caffeine kick, on the house. 🚀

With International Women’s Day this Saturday, let’s celebrate the fact that every major win traces back to a woman somewhere. 💥
Here’s to power, talent, and proving (again) that women make the world go round. 🚀💃🏽
